Lana started her editorial career as an intern for College Lifestyles and the UD Office of Development. She has worked at the Environmental Defense Fund for almost ten years, working her way up to Editorial Specialist. She was previously a writer for the sketch teams 17:38 and Deathbird, whose show HINT: A Murder Mystery enjoyed a run at UCB NY in 2017. Her half-hour play, Single Dead Female - a take on the true crime boom - ran through the Dream Up Festival in the summer of 2018 and was selected as a New York Times Critic's Pick. She is currently in the process of editing her first novel, a coming-of-age story about a DIY musician and the juxtaposition between the early aughts music scene and today’s streaming era.

Education

Lana earned her bachelor's degree in English from the University of Delaware, where she also minored in Sociology and History.
